Melissa founded Evoque Investments, Inc. with the vision of creating a financial planning and asset management firm where client’s needs and values are entwined with their financial picture. Her degree in neuro-psychology fuses Melissa’s financial expertise and the understanding of the very real human element of money and the stress it elicits. With over a decade of experience leading clients on their financial journey, Melissa raises awareness and mitigates risk and stress using tools and resources she has designed for her clients. She believes in creating open communication, a thoughtful financial plan, and tailoring investments to the individual, their values, and their needs.

Melissa’s philosophy of portfolio design, financial planning, and the world of finance as a whole, was inspired by a lifelong experience filled with culture, travel, and community. She began her work in the financial industry at RBC Wealth Management, where she obtained her Series 7 & 66 licenses. Her expertise lies in portfolio management, Retirement Income planning, College Education Planning, Trust and Estate Planning.

She also realized a need for focus on women and finance, so she co-founded and ran a Women’s Financial Empowerment seminar. Melissa has a strong desire to continue working with women and empowering them on an individual and broad basis with regards to their money and financial needs: Is the money invested to meet their needs and values? Does it match their life plan and goals? Are they working with someone who answers their questions and spends time with them? 

Community has always been a large part of Melissa’s life. She is very active on a variety of levels and currently serves on the following boards: Community Access to the Arts, and Railroad Street Youth Project. 

Along with her daughter, Charlotte and son, Rowan, Melissa resides in West Stockbridge, MA. Her interests include: food, driving, wheel pottery, and anything that includes her family! In another life-time she may have been a stand-up comedian.
